A native of the United States, Kane Allen Brown joined the world on October 21, 1993. It was on social media that Brown first became famous. His new single, "Used to Love You Sober," was released in October of 2015, and his debut EP, "Closer," came out in June of 2015, in March of 2016, shortly after Brown signed with RCA Nashville at the start of the year, he released his debut EP, Chapter 1, which featured the same song. On December 2, 2016, he released Kane Brown, his first proper studio album. The album's lead single, "What Ifs," became Brown's first to top all five country music charts that Billboard monitors on the same day (October 17, 2017). Brown's first number-one debut on the Billboard 200 came with the release of his second studio album, "Experiment," in November of 2018.
In the rural areas of Tennessee and northwest Georgia, Brown grew up. Though he was brought up on country music, he developed a taste for R&B sometime in middle school. But he won the school talent show in eleventh grade by singing "Gettin' You Home" by Chris Young, so he switched to playing country music. After seeing his high school friend Lauren Alaina become so successful on American Idol, he decided to give singing competitions a shot himself. He was picked during an audition for The X Factor in 2013, but he left after the show's producers attempted to turn him into a member of a boy band. He is now a worldwide phenomenon thanks to his initiative to upload his own spins on well-known songs online.
What happened after that is, well, history, but we're glad Kane decided to pursue music. A gifted performer in many areas, he never fails to captivate new audiences.
